Bastion Hotel Almere

breakfast closed at 9:00 AM, which is too early if one tries to do a bit of early morning exercise beforehand. Fitness room exists, and was useful, considering it rained all morning, but it's too meak or modest of a fitness room.

appreciated this pleasant stay for a business trip. everything was perfect, the parking was in front of the hotel, the room was well-equipped and impeccably clean. the restaurant here was excellent for lunch or dinner, we both ordered excellent dishes. private bathroom was fairly clean. the location was stunning in the really friendly area.

Cheap budget hotel ok for 100 Euro

First of all hotel management charged me 4000 euro (!) instead of supposed 100 Euro...it took quite some time and a lot of bank calls to get that sorted. (not so funny when you are on vaccation...this was on my visa provided by Booked.net) because of the first incident and my first visa card was blocked I asked management to charge the hotel room on my other visa account which was ok. Everything fine until I went home and found out that the hotel had charged me on 100 Euro on both my visa card and now I can't contact the management because they are not responding to mails... I have about 200 hotel nights a year and this was by far the worst experience sofar...

The large, clean room featured a proper ambient light setup, and I appreciated the fresh towels provided daily without request. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Every time in Almere, I choose this place. The place is respectable and clean, everything is perfect, it should have higher than 3 star rating. The location is stunning and they have parking on site🙂

Perfect, particularly good location in Almere, near Olympische stadion, Almere for work, and public transport to Almere city centre. Also, right beside the highway exit...

The beautiful twin room had comfortable beds and great ambiance lights. Every day fresh towels appeared without request. I appreciated the spacious layout and the TV with connectivity for casting. Having free parking with chargers for electric cars was a plus. Public transport made reaching central Amsterdam easy. Breakfast options were quite limited, with a small selection and underwhelming quality.

All we needed for a family visit

Free parking available, easy to access from the motorway. Good sleep quality due to Bastion's comfy bedding.

Room smelled like smoke despite being booked as non-smoking. No bath towels were provided, and the phone was inoperative. Breakfast options were underwhelming and overpriced, with slow refills leading to empty trays during peak hours.

We stayed there for 4 days.Room was big and nice. But room service was worst ever seen. Some of hotel staff was not friendly. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
